Whether it was 100m all-comer races in the summer with my family, the Snohomish Pumpkin Run in elementary school, or friendly games of capture the flag in the neighborhood, I’ve always enjoyed running. In 2007, I ran on a team for the first time at Valley View Middle School which sparked my love for racing and running with friends. I continued to run competitively for Glacier Peak High School and then for Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. When I’m not running myself, I’m coaching Lynnwood XC/TF, teaching, catching up on my reading list, watching Law and Order: SVU, playing board games, or attending Bible Study Fellowship.
