Rachel was born and raised in western Pennsylvania. She graduated from Chatham University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science in 2014. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Seattle to pursue her dreams. Rachel has always been an athlete, starting with ballet and soccer as a child and transitioning to running by middle school. After seven years of high school and collegiate cross country, Rachel began to tackle relay races, 5k, 10k, half marathon, and full marathon distances (including her first Boston marathon in 2016.) Rachel still loves cross country, coaching at King’s High School and competing on Club Northwest’s team in local races. She also had a few wild multi-sport years that resulted in some short triathlons and two full Ironman distance finishes (but not in that order…) Rachel likes to dream big, work smart, run fast, and bring people together.
