This all kind of feels like deja vous...like we've been here before, but not quite.
Introducing the Re-Run: half marathon and 10k. All participants from cancelled events, who did not participate in the virtual, run will get the opportunity to transfer their race entry from the cancelled event to the Re-Run. This will also mean you no longer can defer your entry to the 2021 event. Registration will be open to everyone and not just those from cancelled events and will be limited to 500 runners. Participants who are transferring from a cancelled event will get their swag from the event in which was cancelled. For example Everett Half Participants will get their Sweatshirt and Finisher Medal from the Everett Half. New participants will get to chose their swag item and finisher medal from either a cancelled event or past SRC event of their choice. New participants will NOT be eligible to claim a Tenacious Ten Tank or Top. However, they will be available for participants who are transferring from The Tenacious Ten.
The Snohomish Running Company has put together a very stringent COVID-19 mitigation and contact tracing plan. First off we ask that all runners please respect their fellow runner. Respect their space. Please also respect their well being. If you have a temperature or are feeling sick then please do not come. This is one time it's okay to not push through. The Re-Run will be our 1st event in which we will put the plan into action. Therefore, we ask all of you to please be patient with us. We have been notified by The City of Everett, Everett Parks Department and Snohomish County Public Works that as long as we are in Phase 4 the event will be permitted.
Please note the following prior to registering:
1.) If the event is cancelled because we are not in phase 4 then all participants who paid for the Re-Run will be given a refund minus $5 or they can transfer their full registration amount to another SRC event of their choice. Those who transferred in will still be able to defer their entry to their 2021 event.
2.) We will be starting participants in waves of 50 with 10 minutes between each wave. You will need to select your waive in registration. The start will be a rolling start in which you will have 10 minutes to cross the start line from the time of arrival.
3.) Participants will be mandated to wear a mask at all times prior to the event and through the first 1/4 mile of the run. Participants will also be mandated to put up their mask while running through aid stations.
4.) Participants will be asked to exit the finish line area and Rotary Park within 15 minutes after they finish.
5.) The bulk of the participants will need to take a bus to the start line prior to the run and back to their vehicles after the run. Participant's temperature will be taken prior to getting on the bus. Buses will be limited to 25 people per bus and masks will need to be worn at all times on the bus. Each bus will be sanitized after each trip.
6.) Packet pickup will be mandatory on Saturday, July 25th. We are still working on details. It will most likely be a Drive Through PPU in the Everett area.
