I am a runner. This is a statement I never thought I would have said about myself. But it’s true…I am a runner. I am also a full-time working mom of 2 and wife. I teach agriculture education/science at Snohomish High School and dedicate much of my time to my students and their development through the FFA Organization. In 2015, I signed up for my first race and walked most of it- but I enjoyed the experience, the day, the time with friends doing something healthy.  The rest, they say, is history. In the past 3 years I have happily dragged various friends in my ‘Crew’ along on my journey – on my training runs, to different races in different states; I have challenged and supported them along the way and they have done the same for me. I absolutely love running, the friendships that have come with every mile, the health I’ve discovery and the strength I’ve developed. I am a runner.
